What we are cooking up…

If you’ve been to the Warlode app recently, you may have noticed that many things seem... well… incomplete. And you’d be correct! Hey, we had to start somewhere!

Rest assured, we are hustling to get stuff done, but felt it important to quickly release something. This is software after all, and it's ever evolving!

For the first iteration, our goal has been to give the user access to some helpful base unit stats, as well as some immersive screenshots from in-game. And the ability to compare data between units.

Here's a glimpse of what we are thinking of doing next:

Immediate Plans (hopefully accomplished in the next few months):

  • Finish configuring all base data (including imagery) for Warhammer 1 and 2 series, based on most recent game builds.
  • Make some supplemental content (for Total War Warhammer series) for our YouTube channel, mainly centered on beginner level information.
  • Begin configuring data, producing imagery, and making tweaks to the app for Thrones of Britannia. This will ideally include some YouTube content too.
  • Improve process by the time Three Kingdoms releases so we can release content in time for the release of the game, or as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Of course, we’ll try to keep up our content up to date with any new DLC that rolls out for the newer titles as we move along.

Long term Features:

  • Add a user login feature, mainly to allow users the ability to interact with a comment feature (we love feedback and conversation).
  • Make an army builder feature, so the user can brainstorm different builds and compare stats between them.
  • Give the user the ability to filter comparison data in multiple ways (it currently displays in descending order with no ability to filter).
  • Give the user the ability to apply buffs/ debuffs to individual unit stats to see how this affects a unit when comparing stats.
  • Configure data for some older titles that we still love playing (Shogun 2, Rome 2, etc..). We think people still like playing those, so let us know what you think!

For now, if you want to support us, please like and spread the word!

Follow us on your preferred social media platform to stay in the loop for updates as things continue to change and evolve. We’d love to know what kind of stuff you would like to see and make this into something cool together!
